Vinpearl Resort Nha Trang is a five-star hotel on Hòn Tre Island in Nha Trang Bay. White Indochine-style blocks, a private beach with clear water and direct access to the VinWonders park, all on one island.

Vinpearl Resort Nha Trang sits on Hòn Tre Island, the largest island in Nha Trang Bay, 3.3 km from the city as the crow flies. There are two ways across.

Vinpearl cable car

The scenic option. The cable car stretches 3,320 metres over the sea at a height of 60 metres — one of the longest over-water cable cars in the world.

The cable-car station (Vinpearl Harbour) is 4–5 km from central Nha Trang, on Trần Phú street. A taxi or a Grab there runs 80,000–100,000 VND (~$3.50).

Tip: arrive by 08:15 to be in the first batch. After 20:00 the return cable car builds a queue that can top an hour.

Speedboat

The boat runs from the Vinpearl Harbour terminal to the island in 5–10 minutes. For hotel guests the transfer is free. Once the cable car closes, the boat is the only way onto the island.

A Deluxe (32 m²) is plenty for a couple or a solo traveller. A Grand Deluxe (42 m²) is roomier — no longer tight with a child. Both come in garden or ocean view; the ocean upgrade adds $10–18 a night.

Beach, pools and the Akoya spa

Private beach

The hotel's beach is white sand, clear water and a gentle slope — comfortable swimming all through the dry season. There are loungers and umbrellas, but at peak hours (11:00–14:00) they run out, so come in the morning.

The pool

The pool here is huge — the largest freshwater one in the region. Two kids' pools and a swim-up bar sit beside it. If you'd rather skip salt water, or want a cocktail without leaving your lounger, this is the spot.

Akoya Spa

Akoya Spa is what brings many guests back. Eight private huts stand right on a lake — the mood is pure Bali. The menu covers Balinese massage, scrubs, wraps and facials, and there is a sauna, jacuzzi, steam room and gym.

Tip: book Akoya Spa for the morning — evenings can be fully reserved.

Breakfast is a buffet from 06:00 to 10:30, included in the room rate. The spread is wide: Asian dishes, pastries, fruit and an omelette station.

All-inclusive can be added at booking — then breakfast, lunch and dinner buffets are all covered.

The evening buffet is charged separately if you're not on all-inclusive — reviews put it at ~$30–60 for a family. The Lagoon Beach Club closes early (17:00), so evening dining choices are limited.

VinWonders access (Vinpearl Land)

The headline feature of Vinpearl Resort is the VinWonders theme park right across the road, on the same island.

Is entry included for hotel guests?

With a standard room, VinWonders entry is not included — you buy tickets separately (1,050,000 VND, ~$40, for an adult and 800,000 VND, ~$30, for a child 100–140 cm tall). But vinpearl.com offers combo packages — stay plus VinWonders. What they include and what they cost depend on the rate and dates, so before you pay, check how many days of park entry are covered.

Money tip: planning 2-plus days on the island? Compare the combo package with two separate tickets (1,050,000 × 2 = 2,100,000 VND, ~$81). If entry is covered for every day and the package costs less than that over the room rate, it wins. Bonus: the park is nearly empty in the morning, before the day-trippers arrive.

Tip: hit the park early — crowds are a fraction of the afternoon. Budget at least 4–5 hours to cover it all.

Vinpearl Resort Nha Trang is the best value on the island — the cheapest of the four, with the same 5★ set of amenities.

Vinpearl Resort & Spa Nha Trang Bay is newer with more grounds. Worth it if you'll pay $30–50 more a night for a fresher renovation.

Vinpearl Luxury is a different league: 84 villas, each with its own pool and jacuzzi — for those who want quiet and indulgence.

Marriott is the international chain. Pick it if you're used to its standards and collect loyalty points.
